Our bodies are made to survive, and they will change your metabolism to counteract these fast diet strategies. When cutting out calories, our bodies will lower the metabolism to conserve energy. When we resist the urge to eat, when we do eventually eat, our bodies will binge for as many calories as it can. Your body requires a certain amount of energy to perform, and will do what it takes to ensure that it always has that energy in supply.

So this tells us that the only weight loss our bodies will accept, is one that is natural, and does not deprive it of anything it needs. Instead of depriving it of many calories, it's more effective to provide it with the RIGHT type of calories. Our bodies burn fat last, since it is more energy-rich than protein or carbs. So eating less fat will reduce the amount stored on your body.
