CHOOSING A PROGRAM
Choosing a program can be very difficult. This is mainly because
they will all tell you they're the best. Often, people will begin
programs because a friend recommends it, or a friend-of-a-friend,
or maybe "everyone's doing it" (like the Atkins craze).
Typically, these ultra-popular diet programs are discovered to
be untrue, or unhealthy. And when they do lose people weight,
the weight is always regained. This is because once people veer
off the path of the diet, they balloon right back up past their
original weight.
Your program should be one concerned with lifestyle change. No
program claiming that cutting out a food group or combining certain
foods can be a god program for the long run. Look for programs
interested in allowing you to prepare your own healthy meals,
to teach you how to make your life a healthier one.
