THE CONCEPT
Jenny Craig is a dieting system where the client is given counselling,
prepared meals, recommendations for exercise, and generally are
aided in any way possible to achieve their weight goals. Users
pay an annual membership fee, and are persuaded to purchase the
prepared meals and the dietary supplements.
THE PLAN
After joining Jenny Craig, clients meet with a counsellor who
sets up the plan for action. Once the diet has been developed,
the user will purchase the necessary prepared meals and/or the
supplements. Through a combination of the diet and exercise, the
user follows the plan throughout the week, and meets with their
counsellor after every week.
The Jenny Craig diet takes a healthier approach to dieting than
most other diets. The emphasis here is on combining healthy food
choices with exercise to achieve a natural weight loss that does
not deprive the body of any vitamins or minerals as is the case
with many other diets.
People using this diet love it for its complete guidance through
the process. There is no calorie counting, or need to prepare
special meals on their own as the service provides the main part
of every meal, with only the peripherals to prepare on their own.
This support comes in handy, since many many dietors fail due
to inadequate commitment and support, or because their diet involves
complicated counting and combining techniques.
