MEAL PLAN
Breakfast:
Half of a grapefruit or unsweetened juice (glass)
2 eggs
2 slices of bacon
Lunch:
Half of a grapefruit or unsweetened juice (glass)
Salad (choice of dressing)
Meat of choice
Dinner:
Half of a grapefruit or unsweetened juice (glass)
Salad OR a red or green vegetable cooked in butter or spices.
Meat of choice
Coffee or Tea
The diet is not recommended, nor should it be. Although grapefruits
are fat-free and a good source of vitmains, it does not burn fat
alone or combined with other foods. It is simply the lack of calories
that loses the user weight. It can seem very repetitive and boring
eating the same type of meal every day, but more importantly,
once the diet is over, users have not learned to alter their eating
habits. Maintaining any weight loss from this diet is difficult.
