EXERCISE
Exercise is an integral part of fitness. Exercise is something
that everyone needs, but thanks to our modern day society, almost
no one gets nearly enough of. With all of our modern-day conveniences,
simple forms of exercise are cut out of our day. We drive to the
corner store, we drive-through at restaurants letting us eat without
even getting up. This hurts our overall fitness, and everyone
needs to take corrective measures to help our energy imbalance.
Since everytime we eat we are consuming calories, we need to
perform enough physical activities to balance the intake. Calories
that are ingested should equal the calories we burn. Because we
eat unhealthy foods that contain plenty of calories and cut out
many of the calorie burning activities we used to perform, we
end up storing much more calories that end up as body fat.
Exercise is the only was to balance our energy intake/output.
Exercise comes in many forms, and some are as simple as going
up the stairs in your house. The trick is finding ways to add
exercise to your life. You can choose to begin an exercise regiment,
by joining a gym or getting some equipment for the house, or even
jogging for 30 minutes a day around the block.
There are books on how to add little pieces of exercise into
your regular day, by walking to the store, taking the stairs 2
at a time on the way up. Whichever way you choose to do it, everyone
needs to add some physical activity into their day.
