Abdominal Exercises
The exercises help a person to spend energy and reduce his weight. Exercises increases the basal metabolic rate of the body which in turn burns away the excess fat. The increase in this rate is proportionate to the intensity of the exercise. There are many abdominal exercises like crunches, leg raises, situps, hip thrusts, side bends, weighted situps, crunches with your legs bent, not bent, straight up in the air and machines shown in infomercials, etc.
There are many exercises which reduces fat from abdomen. Some of them are explained here which are easy.
- Lie flat on your back. Keep both your back. Keep both your arms spread at the sides. Palms should touch the floor. Now raise your left leg and bring it down in such a way that it touches the fingers of your right hand. Now revert to your original position. Then perform the same type of action with your right leg. Repeat this exercise ten times with each leg. This exercise reduces the fat from the thighs and the abdomen.
- Squat on the floor. Keep your legs straight. Place your palms on the floor behind your body. Tilt your body in such a way that its weight is diatributed on both the arms. Now raise your legs slightly up and move them as if you are cycling.
To develop solid abs, you need to shed some excess body fat. This is accomplished by eating properly and consuming less calories each day than your body burns. Secondly, your abdominals must be trained in accordance with proper resistance training.
