THE CONCEPT
This diet claims that by eating primarily cabbage soup accompanied
by mostly other vegetables and very little meat, users will lose
10-15 pounds within a week. The recipe for the soup is given,
and all that needs to happen is to have someone follow the plan
correctly and it will work.
THE PLAN
The diet plan requires that you buy the ingredients for the soup,
and eat it almost every day for the week, with a few extras thrown
in for good measure. The plan is very low in protein and complex
carbohydrates, and is considered unlikely to provide healthy weight
loss.
People undertaking the plan should keep in mind that the plan
is very unbalanced and may cause you to feel light-headed, woozy,
and have trouble concentrating. Once the week-long period is over,
users should revert to a normal diet, to regain any lost nutrients
and minerals. A major problem with this diet is that it does not
teach users to posess healthy eating habits, so many will regain
the lost weight shortly after stopping the diet.
