THE RECIPE
To prepare the Cabbage Soup for this diet, here is the recipe.
You will need:
6 large green onions
4 carrots
1-2 green peppers
1-2 cans of tomatoes (whole or diced)
10-12 oz. of mushrooms
1 bunch celery
1/2 head of cabbage
1 package Lipton soup mix
1 or 2 cubes bouillon
Season to taste (ex: pepper, salt, garlic)
To prepare the soup, follow these directions:
Use cooking spray and begin to sautee the onions. Cut the green
pepper into bite-sized portions, and place in the pot. Cut the
cabbage into similar pieces and put in the pot. Carrots as well.
The mushrooms should be cut into larger pieces, and placed into
the pot. You can add pepper (black or red crushed) and other spices
now. Add 12 cups of water and cook on low heat for approximately
2 hours.
Many various items will be combined with the soup over the meals
of the next week.
