INTRODUCTION
Burning Calories is a key part of losing weight. Dieting is defined
as reducing your caloric intake, but if you eat less calories,
you don't tend to lose weight anyway. The key is burning the calories
you eat in a day, and preferably some of the stored calories in
your body.
The balance of energy intake is the key to weight loss. Your
caloric intake should equal your calories burned in a day in order
to remain at the same weight. To gain weight, you would be eating
more calories than you burn therefore causing the body to store
the leftovers as body fat. To lose weight, you must burn more
calories than you eat, forcing the body to use up your energy
reserves, also known as your body fat.
