DAY DIET
The 3 Day Diet lasts for just that - 3 days. The plan
claims to help users lose 10 pounds over 3 days by limiting calories.
There are more negative aspects to this diet than possibilities
of rewards.
The diet consists of a meal plan spelled out for the
user that lists all intake for 3 meals a day for 3 days. After this
time is over, you are meant to return to your typical diet for atleast
4 to 5 days afterwards.
The origin of this diet is unclear, but its basis
leaves much to be desired. Any diet that promises such weight loss
in such little time should be considered for what it is - a quick
fix. The lasting effects, however, will not be found. The only way
to safely lose weight and maintain a healthy size is to lose the
excess with a balance of nutrition and exercise.
With short time-span diets, the most likely scenario
is that it causes your body to lose water. This loss of water makes
your weight go down, but also deprives your body of essential nutrients.
The health behind the diet is very questionable, and we would never
recommend it. As with any diet, it is best to consult your doctor
before attempting this diet.
